About me

In general, everybody has different reasons for capturing images, for example to make a living or purely capturing memories.
The same for my wife as she has the tendency to constantly make pictures of everything and everywhere and keep the memories organized as well.
One day suggested to get here a DSLR camera to bring the hobby to the next level.
In the end we bought a Nikon D5300 with the objective Nikor AF-S 18-105mm.
The fact that the camera had to be constantly with us was the main reason to more and more go back to the mobile phone.
At the same time, I discovered the camera as well and started to capture my first images and realized that it takes more to get super nice pictures.
To start off I went through all the features of the camera and learned some more about the general techniques of the DSLR camera photography, simply to get more from the camera than a picture with all settings on automatic.
Here I ran into the trouble of not having a lot of depth in knowledge when it comes to aperture, shutter time, etc. and decided to go for some classroom trainings.
I noticed, however, that I was increasingly gripped by the close-up of small objects and insects for which the lens is of course not very suitable. That’s why we started looking for an affordable Macro lens and that’s the Tamron 90mm 1:1 F/2.8
This is the combination that I have already taken a lot of pictures with and which I am still very satisfied with.
